Sahih Muslim 1760
This hadith has been narratted by A'mash with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition:
" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was on the pulpit when he asked me to recite to him."
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَمِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِيُّ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . وَزَادَ هَنَّادٌ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ
" اقْرَأْ عَلَىَّ " .
