Sahih Muslim 2737
This hadith pertaining to the wild ass is reported on the authority of Abu Qatada. The rest of the hadith is the same but with this (variation of words) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
" Is there with you some of its flesh?"
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - فِي حِمَارِ الْوَحْشِ . مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي النَّضْرِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" هَلْ مَعَكُمْ مِنْ لَحْمِهِ شَىْءٌ " .
