Sahih Muslim 5111
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Shut the doors; the rest of the hadith is the same but with a slight variation of wording: Cover the utensils, and further said: It (the mouse) may set fire to the clothes of the residents of the house.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَغْلِقُوا الْبَابَ " . فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ "
وَخَمِّرُوا الآنِيَةَ " . وَقَالَ " تُضْرِمُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ ثِيَابَهُمْ " .
